Can't they be notched out in the area where the bars pass through? Regardless, I would like to have some fabricated off of the specs of my plastic ones. They are cracking and probably won't last much longer.

I'm wondering the same. 4 1/2 months without an update is a long time. I gave up and got the original plastic ones. It would still be nice to have metal ones though.

The file wasn't complete. It gets you close enough it to build 1 unit but it would be very difficult to produce in any quantity more than 1. I've been fooling around with some designs to try and come up with something that could be produced in larger #s.
