The cheapest timing tool kit for 2.5 NA, 200 & 300 Tdi

1 x drill bit 9mm to lock the pump
1 x drill bit 5.5 mm
1 x hydraulic connector available for next to nothing in any good hardware store.

The connector screws into the bell housing bottom ( or top 2 o clock on 2.5 NA).
The 5.5mm drill bit slides through there and locks the flywheel. To stop it from falling out add a few turns of electrical tape around the drill bit.

The 9mm drill bit slides through the injector pump pully into the pump housing locking the
pump in place.

 

He's looking for the collar and associated bolts to hold the ip pump pulley and belt in situ so the IP can be swapped without messing with the new timing belt.
