Check out Iron Goat up in Canada. They also offer a door panel.

 

We stock the LaSalle trim door cards as well. Much sturdier than then OEM door cards.

 

Those both look like good options. LaSalle has arm rests but no handles or pockets. I'd love to hear from anyone who has tried both.

I think I like both of these more just because of the lack of a logo. If I went with RN I'd probably come up with a way to hide the logo. Just seems tacky.

 

We can probably get you a set without the badge if that helps.

 

little bottle of black touchup paint could take care of the logo if that's all thats holding you back... they do look nice!

 

Your gripe isn't with the door card(s) it's with the map pocket. Buy an OEM map pocket, or ask RN if they have any without their logo embroidered in.

 

I have the Iron Goat's on my Series, quality product, tough, good pocket space. Having seen the RN ones. they are nice also. I chose the Goat's for the storage space and also for no logo, but the RN's appear more like an OE product: textured finish, expanding pocket, etc.

 

Yesterday a forum member ordered these door panels from RN w/o their logo. Just have to ask.

 

I have the RN door cards. The quality is good. The logo is just an embroidered patch that is sewn on to the canvas. It is not very difficult to remove a sewn on patch.

I don't care for the logo myself, so I might get around to removing them right after I finish waxing the exterior.

They work good for me; I'm quite ambivalent about the logo, as you don't normally see it. The map pocket holds a 10" tablet quite nicely.

I used rivet nuts for the install rather than sheet metal screws. Also, when drilling the holes for the handle, protect the door panel; otherwise you'll get a couple of nice dimples....

 

Do the sheet metal screw holes line up between the RN panel and the door?

 

I took out the thread holding the RN logo on. Can't tell. Don't let the logo stop you.

 

I have RN panels - installed last year. Nice and they match OEM.

Holes did not match my doors - at least a few.

Overall, great purchase if you like the OEM look and feel.

As for logo - it's just a patch, which can be removed.

 

Must say, mine worked well as well. A tad heavier plastic than the OEM and the speaker enclosure worked out better. Buy two small Land Rover patches and Iron them on in the place of the RN patch. Get them on ebay for a few bucks.

 

Are the RN panels more stout than the originals? How about the screw hole locations? Are they flush on the mating side to the door channels. The orginals had a lip and if the screws were over tightened, the plastic would crack...

 

Yes on being more stout but keep in mind - it's plastic. The plastic is more even, my OEM panels were not even at all.

Most of the holes for me lined up but I did have a few that did not.

The speaker location is a hell of a lot better due to the plastic being more even/stout.

And the logo, it's just a patch - can be remove very easy.
