Hello I have a YUG000180LNF TD5 hazard switch that I need to wire in.

looks like this:

I've temporarily placed the spade connectors directly to the switch ( i have the connector for when I have all the needed wires figured out).

Here is what I'm using as a reference:

and these two also:

here is where I'm stuck: 1,2,8

1 ?
2 ?
3 LG from relay
4 Dimmer switch (using a freelander switch)
5 ground
6 LGN from relay
7 GR from under the dash probably ties to the signal stalk
8 ?
9 GW from under the dash probably ties to the signal stalk
0 not used

My Questions:

- What goes to 1 & 2? I'm assuming some kind of fused +
- Where does 8 go? a remote flashing light somewhere? back to the dash?
- Did I get the other ones correct?

Thank you,

Oscar

On my 95 NAS this is how I wired mine. Colors are the existing harness, numbers are the inputs for the new plug

1 black
2 red and white/red
3 light green
4 2 purple
5 white/green
6 n/a
7 2 dark greens
8 black/red that goes to your binical warning light
9 green/brown
10 green/red

Thanks Paul,

I pulled up the NAS 90 wiring to help me understand what you did and it was helpful to compare the two.

Looks like you have live + on 4 and Ignition + on 7

It looks like I will need them in 1 & 2 since 7 is on the switched path on my switch.

1. IGN +
2. Live +

8. Does your Truck have a separate hazard warning light or does it flash the turn indicator lights on the dash?

Does your Hazard Switch Flash while its in operation?

Thanks again

the green white wires are switched power. you can get this from the fuse box or the old switch. A purple wire indicates a constant power feed. The 8 wire I think should go to the haz warn light. Some of the trucks have a separate warning light while the older trucks use the turn signal indicators.

Oscar,

I'll look for my notes and will let you know what all the wires do, at least for a 95 NAS. Yes the switch as well as the left and right indicators on the binical flash when the hazards are running. The only issue/strange thing going on is the trailer indicator flashes as well.

Thanks guys all helpful information. I sounds like since I don't see a hazard triangle lamp anywhere that 8 is not required. It looks like the left right indicators should do the hazard flashing... maybe.

It's installed and works as advertised let me know if you need any more info. 1 and 2 did end up being 12v IGN + and live + on my switch.
