I moved down here and am looking for someone to help with my rover. I had a new 300TDI from rovers north put in about 6K miles ago by a my mechanic up north in PA, Bill Schofield. He has done great work on my 1995 NAS D90 (converted it to a 110 twin cab pick up) over the years but unfortunately I am down in FL now and he is up there. So, I am looking for someone to help me fix my new 300TDI that i got from RN last year.

Anyone know of anyone they would recommend in the St. Augustine area?

At first I thought it was just a belt that broke the other day, but after getting it towed home and looking at it during the day I see it is a bit worse....gonna need a new front cover and possibly a little more (I have not taken the fan cowl off yet to see if there is any radiator damage).

Looks like the bearing failed on the timing cover for the fan. Could possibly have radiator damage. For a 'new' engine this is not common. A timing cover isn't expensive, maybe $100 ish. Radiator is inexpensive too. Probably looking at $200~ parts and about a few hours labor. This is an easy repair. Wish I could help you on a shop.
