Good Moring All,
I am hoping for some help troubleshooting an electrical issue on my 1989 Santana diesel. I was trying to start my truck the other day, and after a few tries everything died. Now nothing works. I charged the battery, cleaned both the connections on the battery terminals, checked the fuse box in the truck, and still couldn't find the issue. I do think it is strange that everything is dead, like the lights and hazards. Is there a main breaker? I hope I am missing something simple. Thanks

You need to unbolt the opposite end of the ground cable (-) and clean everything up so you get a proper ground.

I cant imagine this is what is causing your problem (as stated above, it’s probably exactly what is suggested) but in my 1988 Santana most of the fuses were very loose in their “sockets.” My flasher even would fall out. Your post made me think about that and while you are diagnosing things, maybe take a look at the fuse box.

Don't believe the wire to the starter solenoid is fused.
