ETC7939 = Gates 6221MC or Dayco 11A1025C

11 wide, 1025 length
The 11 is the width, the A is the section shape or profile of the belt/pulley, and the 1025 is the length in mm

 

KGH is spot on. If your options are limited just get any universal one with the A section shape. As long its long enough to fit round the pulleys it will get you home.

The previous owners of my 200tdi had the same problem driving it from Spain to the UK and I discovered the makeshift thin universal one they fitted still doing its job when I bought it. Changed it now of course.

Just had the belt on my 2.5NA Ex-MoD go, not sure how old it was but it was marked "made in P.R.C (People's Republic of China) so I'm gonna say it was probably due for replacing. Anyway, it's the same part number (ETC7939) as for use on the 200Tdi and thought it would be helpful to add to this thread.
I went to Autozone and found Duralast part 15410 (11AV1040) to be a great fit and was about $8. Hope this helps the next guy in a pinch.
