RN/LR list it as out of stock/backorder - had mine fall apart on me...

New or used is fine - prefer new

Yep, also the newer TDCI units will fit and have the assist springs fitted (plus the bushings and bits are usually in better overall condition). It really made a difference when I did the swap.

Part number SKB500280 is the newer style with assist springs. You will not regret it.

LRDirect doesn’t have it right now - strange. I paid $200ish from Rovah Farm years ago. Looks like Rovers North has it for $169.

Good opportunity to rebuild or replace your clutch master cylinder too. Or spend the bling and get the SDO upgraded master cylinder.

Ordered a new kit from Safari

When they fail...

Well, it appears mine was haphazardly repaired in spain before I got the truck, and the repair finally failed - note the washer welded to the inside in the pics. The cross piece that holds the master cylinder plunger was operating cock-eyed when I was bleeding it and ended up shearing off the plunger for my brand new SDO master as well.

Now I'll have replaced the whole system, pedal to slave... Ought to work for another 25 years :brows

How does it fall apart?
It was exceptionally annoying. Someone had repaired the pedal previously at the top pivot where the clutch operating rod attaches to the pedal arm. So this area was weak and the effort of pumping the clutch to bleed it caused the repair to break loose, twisting the top bit of the pedal arm and bending the operating rod. I didn’t take a picture, maybe Adam did.
