Go steel (paint them black) or go home. Fancy wheels are for mall cruisers, posers and NYC Boost Club members.:grin
It's Frank....me thinks he has enough off-road on his d2Both.
Alloys for around town. Steel for off road.
I have a set of NATO wheels with Dunlop Mud Rovers. I switch them out before an adventure.
Not bashing you Dave…did you ever find the additional rims you where looking for?All right, enough with the black wheel bashing. I like my BLACK steel wheels and I like women and I hate Bette Midler music and quiche.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Adventure = Going to CabelasBoth.

I did. Now I need for it to cool off so I can get started on that project.Not bashing you Dave…did you ever find the additional rims you where looking for?
if that's the truck, I'd definitely roll w/ steelies. I'm a fan of Boosts and Deep Dish on some D's, just not ones with the ole-school look.So the truck we've been re-building is finally done (it's getting detailed, so no pic's yet) but what are your guy's thoughts on rims? Obviously we'll clean up and paint or powered coat the the steelies…
So…opinions
While most of my "adventures" are close to home, (Neiman Marcus, lol) how many people can say they have driven to the jungles in Central America. I did the Ruta Maya trip in 2001.Adventure = Going to Cabelas
