A friend of mine has a Defender with an aftermarket chassis and found this stamp on one of the outriggers. He’s curious as to what brand chassis he might have. Anyone here know what company puts these stamps on their chassis’s? He no longer has contact with the previous owner.

It looks original - and if he bought it being told it was a new chassis - then that's pretty craptacular.

I found my batch number as well - is there any place to look up what it means - there is no end to the thirst for useless trivia about my LR....

Typically, and not always, aftermarket chassis are galvanized. That doesn't appear to be galvanized
