I have a question about the VIN number sequence when ordering parts from the LR parts book. For the part I am looking it says “From VIN Prefix VA99…’ the VIN on my ‘95 Defender starts “VAFA…” So is my ‘95 before or after VA99…?

It refers to the last two letters before the numbers.

A 1995 would be MA so I’m not desire what you are looking at.
