Catching up: like others here I find the instructions for this cage lacking. As I told a local Rover owner, I give them a D- for the effort of the manual. The quality of the parts is nice, however.
I unpackaged mine this weekend, and it took nearly two hours to get all of the plastic off without hurting the powder coat.
A local friend with a NAS wagon stopped by and I was able to photograph the parts on his truck that aren't clear in the manual, especially the rear supports.
I'll start my install late this week and if time allows, will start new thread for the 138/7 cage and post pictures.
