with my 91 I have the original steel wheels. If I were to upgrade to an aluminum wheel, I assume I will need the 5 x 165MM lug nut pattern? Same as the RR or D1's of same era? I see not [problem with mine, will probably repaint in a darker color than the body color. Same with the Cap. I do like to two color ones. Of course this is AFTER I finish the Chevy 250 engine swap.

Unless you get adapters for a different lug pattern. Same as D1/RRC.

Stock alloys do not fit on the early axles without spacers. The alloys hit the wider drive flange bolt heads.
