I thought it would be helpful to start pulling everyone's favorite shops together in one thread and especially helpful for those traveling to have a list in case they are broken down in an unfamiliar place.

So, I will start with my two local independent rover places. Both are great and run by great people with good service and fair prices.

We're still here at Robison Service, though I have not been as active on the forums. We're just finishing a nice yellow D90 and there's a white one following right behind. We're doing anything from routine service to total restoration and we do a wide variety of custom work

It seems like there are fewer shops specializing in major. repair and restoration on Defenders, particularly as the dealers are leaving the off-road image behind. We have been restoring, repairing, and writing about Land Rover since 1988 in Springfield, MA

We have trucks and trailers and can pick up and deliver service all over the east coast.
