My steering wheel has been squeaking loud when turning the wheel in one direction (not really the other) and it drives me nuts. It is right at where the steering wheel meets the steering column I believe. Any ideas? Should I spray some silicon in between there or take off the steering wheel and use WD40? I assume to do that I must remove the crash pad which I don't know how to do?

Any advice would be appreciated. #annoying

I would spray some silicone as you mentioned. Get a can that has a tube that you can stick into the area. Do that before going deeper into disassembly. Remember silicone is a lube, WD-40 is a solvent. This is a case for lube. (That's what she said).
