So I have an ex-RAF 110 that has a bonnet mount. Right now it has a wolf rim on it, but I'd like to reduce the weight a bit. Will a boost alloy fit on the mount as well? I know I shouldn't mix rims, but I would only use a spare to limp on.
Thanks- Ben

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to give the extra height a little thought. I might just stay with the setup I have now. It's just on these rough mountain trails, it gets a bit bouncy.

I had a 35x1050 up there. The only time it's ever hard to see over is when you're wheeling and you need to see directly in front of the truck. Or I guess if you were 5'8 or under

I’m 6’-3” and have a 9.00/16 mounted, and do agree only an issue when wheeling, and then only occasionally. However, have heard others use an alloy and most all revert back to thin tire mounted on a steelie.

Thanks, sounds like a good alternative. I haven't checked yet, but it would be nice if they are the same width as the wolf then I could use the same tire.
