Thought I would share my recipe, cooking meatloaf takes wayyyy too long in normal setting. So make the meatloaf as you normally would, get a big 12"+ cast iron skillet, grease with bacon grease or olive oil, place in a hot (450 degree) oven while you prepare the meatloaf. Then when ready, put the prepared meatloaf in the skillet, cook for about 20 mins in the hot oven, then broil another 5-8 mins to sear the top layer of ketchup. In total takes only about 30 mins to cook.

Recipe
2lbs ground beef
1 onion
little garlic, salt, pepper, sage
egg
cup of bread crumbs soaked in about 1/2 cup of milk or so
top with ketchup

Sounds tasty.
Thanks for sharing!
We'll have to try it in the camp chef oven at MAR.

Final step.... cut a large sourdough boule in half and place finished meatloaf in between for Monster Burger!! :thumb:
ah man, nailed it! Even better, stack some fried onion rings in there topped with dill sauce
