It's not too long? I haven't measured but I wonder where the shift lever ends up.
Automatic so by switching to a lokar shifter- the shifter can come up through the boot if you’re clever. Forget what Ron has going on for a tunnel. We stopped by on way back from ROMP and got it running and the lights working.

What differences are there from a standard chassis?
Completely custom chassis built by Drew Swoboda & Mike McCaig here in Va. The only series parts used (new from RN) were the bulkhead outriggers and rear tub crossmember. Once complete it was sand blasted to improve adhesion and hot dip galvanized. Otherwise it’s all coiler with removable crossmember, 4 bolt steering box, 24 spline axles, stock 90 radius arms, trailing arms, a frame etc. Frame was designed to center rear tire in wheel opening.
The engine front cover was swapped to the shorter p38/d2 type & corresponding cast aluminum oil pan. Design is very well thought out & cool.
