I am looking at some safety devices baskets/roof racks and there is an option of 3 sided vs 4 sided cage.
Does anyone have some practical experience on why one is preferred over another?

part of me thinks about storing things on top and not likely a tent since we are a family of 5 and I’ve not seen any tent that would rack mount and sleep 5.
