When posting something in the Classified section, please be sure to include a price, description, location, and picture(s) if applicable.

- NO eBay, Craigslist, or other similar type of listings are to be posted in the "For Sale - Vehicles" or "For Sale - Parts" unless it is your own personal listing or auction.

- If its your auction you may post it here as long as you provide the auction's link, what the reserve price is (if you don't have a "Buy Now" option), and that you will close the auction early if a D-90 Source member wishes to buy it right away, regardless of the current auction standings. Auction listings that do not fully meet all requirements will be deleted without warning.

- Craigslist post or eBay listings that you think the rest of the gang would like to see, please post it in the Flea Market section.

- The D-90 Source takes no responsibility for validating the accuracy of peoples listings and any transactions, research, and/or disputes are solely between the seller and buyer, and done so at your own risk.

- If you see a posting that you feel violates these guidelines, please use the "Report this post" link, located at the upper right corner of the post in question, and appropriate action will be taken after review.

Thank you!

READ: Reminder about this section

The For Sale threads are not discussion threads nor a place for people to make editorial comments on the sellers listing price. While offering truthful comments to alert other forum members of a possible issue/praise of the item/seller, as well as general questions to the sellers regarding the listing, is perfectly acceptable, comments attacking the sellers price for no reason other than to heckle them for example, is not.

90% of us regulars here all know when we see an overpriced listing, we all know it wont sell in most cases here on the site at that price, so we dont need to tanks someones listing just because they are new and dont know the market like we do, or if we are bored and feel like making a post. Not too mention that its highly likely the listing is a copy/paste from their listing from the automotive classified sites and they are just trying to get the word out.

The bottom line is, an over priced truck wont move on this site unless someone has a burning desire for that particular truck especially when there is no shortage of other truck listing for people to look at and see other pricing more toward enthusiast market levels.

Off-topic posts in for-sale ads

I'm going to start moderating the for sale posts more tightly to keep them on topic.

Its not fair to sellers when their posts turn into referendums - responses need to be related to the item for sale, and no insults, jeers, or opinions on price.

OK:
"are you willing to negotiate"
"please post more pix"
"nice rig"
etc

NOT OK:
"your price is way out of line"
"I had one of those and it sucked"
"F-you and all your fish-eatin' friends!"
etc.

If something is clearly a fraudulent sale (i.e. defender 90 - 5600, send cash) it will be removed anyway. But if you really feel strongly about something, start a new thread in the misc chit-chat section.

This isn't new news, but I wanted to throw out a reminder:
