Hi All!
I ask for your advice.
Need to replace the primary shaft in my R380 gearbox.
This has an early serial number (61A - V8 NAS prefix) and according to the catalog i need to use FTC3928 partnumber.
Unfortunately I can't find this part for sale online. Could FTC5044 be a suitable replacement?
This is an expensive part (and postage from UK too), and I need to be sure that this is what I need before buying.

thanks for any responce

Give Rob at Southwest Rovers a call. They specialize in rebuilding Rover gearboxes. He just did an R380 for me. Super nice guy. Maybe he can help with locating the part.

Shabs Piercy from Syncrogearboxes confirmed that I can use the newer FTC5044 input shaft in my gearbox. Maybe this info will be useful to someone else.
Thanks to all who answered!
