This steering is going to kill me. The stupid lower dash heater duct area protrudes 1/2in into the space where the column goes. I am not taking off the lower dash (I paid Trevor to assemble the bulkhead) so I either have to cut a path through the heater duct box thing or bend the crap out of the tab (leaning toward the latter. I also don’t seem to have the bearing in my box of parts (or can’t find it). I have the big plate (put that on the column first BTW) so can I add the bushing/bearing thing after it is in?
