Anyone know where I can get one of these that is in North America (below $180), or does anyone have one laying around?

Yes I tested it, no spark of life.

Yeah, I'm trying to find what GM blower motor will work best for RHD. Currently trying search old threads.

I figured out that you can use a GM fan from autozone P/N: 35333, $25!

Found my old thread doing some research for a friend.
I actually took the old fan and new fan apart and I managed to put the old fan on the new blower assembly and I reversed the polarity of the motor, so I turned a LHd fan into a RHd

The fans have forward curved blades. If you spin them backwards you will get poor performance.

Update: This still works many years later.
Used the old blades on new motor.
