Hello, does anybody here have first hand knowledge of fitting a Lt230 to a RRC? I know I need a front prop shaft and of course a Lt230, but will the hand brake assy from a B&W fit one fit? Is the transmisson support rod the same?

Thanks

If I was to get a Ashcroft unit, is it worth the extra for the limited slip centre diff? Or just get the upgraded hd cross shafts?

We've done several by using the Discovery LT230 linkage and handbrake.
I don't recall swapping driveshafts, but the last one was years ago.

Roverman2010, I just stumbled across this post while looking for something entirely different.
I have a local friend that bought all the components for doing this conversion for his 94RRC. He bought the driveshaft, hand brake and linkages and then decided to go with a BW unit. If interested PM me, I have the components for sale.
