So I am still trying to diagnose why my door switches do not turn on interior lights. The problem lies somewhere between the door switch and the purple white wire coming from the light. The door switch tests fine and completes ground when door is open. Light works fine.

Years ago, I removed the spider bypass, immobilization system. I thiink that is where the problem lies. Wiring diagrams have the now removed Alarm ECU in between the switch and the lamp on it's path to ground.

So I went searching under the R side seat battery box . THere are some unused electrical connectors that used to connect to alarm ECU and immobilizers now laying dormant. I am attempting to find a wire there that connects to the door switches but I cannot seem to locate it.

Anyone have any experience in this regard?

May be easier to just run a hot purple to the switch and then to the lamp, essentially copy the old truck style circuit?
