In the midst of a full brake job on the '91 hunter. It appears likely that the front brake calipers should cross to the pre-1990 non-abs trucks vs. the 1991 abs calipers. Can anyone confirm this to be the case?
Thanks

Thanks Jeff. I ask as I found mention that there may be a mod necessary to the caliper if you're converting abs to non (connecting the piston bores internally). As well, there are separate part numbers for abs trucks and non. But that does seem like a lot of over thinking of what rover engineers were capable of.

I think it's more about vented vs solid rotors. Which does the Hunter have?
1991 is vented; Non-ABS
I believe the '89 Hunters are the skinny solid rotor...

I just replaced my 1991 Hunter front calipers with some from Zack at RN.

Used to be able to find them at Advance and NAPA a year or 2 ago....not any more.

I still have the boxes and part #s.
"Hunter & ABS"
I got the RN Proline version as that was the only thing available.
Very good so far.
I put these on back in December '14.
