Sort of depends: the filler neck passes over the frame on the RH side so the tank drops at an angle. That being said, I'd venture there is sufficient room available to get a ratchet or gearwrench in comfortably. What are you fitting?

How much space can I get between the gas tank and the floor before I need to disconnect anything?

Putting in a Bestop rear seat so my daughter has a headrest.
There is a single rear mounting point that I think will need to go over the tank.
Will document the install as I think it will be a good substitute for the LR seat.
