That's a white lie, I currently live in Boston but will be moving to Charlotte in 10 days.

I just sold my 1988 Land Cruiser FJ62 to prepare for the move. The frame was very rusted and not worth the hassle of bringing to the South where rust isn't as popular.

Now I'm looking to upgrade to a Defender and will be starting my search. Ideal is a 110 station wagon, diesel, and left-hand drive. I am not too concerned with exterior/interior condition, just hoping to find something that is in good running condition and a solid frame.

Look forward to sharing the Defender I end up choosing.

The TLC enthusiast forum was a wealth of information and very helpful, so I wanted to find a similar one for Defenders. Starting back over researching Defenders is a little overwhelming but I have plenty of time to learn and make a decision.

I'll definitely send you a message when I am all set up.

This forum will steer you straight on finding a credible seller (and even more importantly, who not to go to) as well as exactly what to look for and what you can expect to pay.

the worst thing a new buyer can do is not going to this forum, as there are many, many traps, pitfalls and frauds out there regarding Defenders.
