Does anyone have any tips on removing the existing olive nut on the fuel lines? I need to replace the nut behind it.

I'm interested to see the razor blade trick but I've always just carefully used a dremel or hacksaw.

You do want to be careful not nick the line but I somehow always do just a little bit. And they never leak so I guess it isn't really a problem and I still do them that way

What is the razor blade trick exactly? Use the razor blade to make a relief in the soft copper that wont go through the steel line?

Post 1 does not mention a metal fuel line.
Since I deal with diesels all the lines are plastic, but many of the connections use a copper or brass olive.
The razor blade is to cut through the plastic line just behind the olive.
Obviously, this is not applicable with metal lines.
