We have been working with Rite in the Rain since late last year, stock their products in the store, and have put together a kit with the items we use most. The factory is only a few miles away from our shop in the Pacific Northwest and they make various paper products that work when wet, or muddy, or bloody… We use RITR waterproof notebook paper for shop project checklists, and we have provided a notebook to all folks we have trained so that their notes can be used and updated in the field regardless of weather. We are a full line dealer - please let me know if there is anything you would like added to the catalog as we can supply any of the items by model or NSN identifier.

We have a limited number of Waterproof Field Notebook kits at Defender Source special pricing for the new product launch:

DefendersNW Waterproof Notebook Kit: Retail is $69.00
There are 6-sets available at the D-Source special price of 30% OFF including shipping anywhere in the USA ($48.30)

Use the coupon code: DSOURCERITR

The Defender Source Group Buy kit includes:

OR

1 x BLACK or TAN Cover- Rugged CORDURA® Zippered cover with room to hold 4-writing implements and a standard size field flex book - measures 5 1/2" x 8 3/8"

2 x Field Flex waterproof notebooks (also resistant to grease, mud, blood, etc..) with the universal pattern (Horizontal solid lines for text and subdued vertical dotted lines to use as a grid if needed)

1 x Heavy Duty Mechanical Pencil - not the regular "thick" pencil lead like you find at the office supply store which is usually only .8mm thick, these pencils use 1.1mm thick lead that allows some pressure to be used on the point without snapping it off constantly (as I tend to do on regular pencils and as tested by a 5year old kid) with extra lead and erasers included.

And they are keen Defender supporters so I loaned them one of my trucks for their catalog photo-shoot.

Got this email from a Rite in the Rain employee this morning…

That is one awesome vehicle! Prior to working here, I worked for a non profit called World Vision. In all the villages we worked in, we purchased land rovers for relief workers to travel in. We would receive a lot of feedback from our donors regarding the expense of the vehicles. What most people do not understand is that their durability far surpasses anything else, especially when used in hard terrain like Africa or India, etc.

Glad you let us borrow your rig for the catalog!
