Defroster/Dash Vents

I have noticed my defroster/dash vents have warped over time. I noticed in the UK you can get aluminum ones. I would want them if they were black but there not so I don't. Anyway, anybody ever replace these?

you mean the rectangular trim ring or the actual vent it covers ?

Trim rings are cheap and are held on by two screws- they take minutes to replace
