The Santa Barbara one is gone.

I'm in So California. If you think there is demand and want to start moving some of these across country I'm open to doing some of the leg work.

I think it's a fool's errand to go looking for anything but southwestern vehicles. The cost to ship them east is way offset by the lack of corrosion not only on the body but the fittings and fasteners. That equals less labor and or replacement parts.
Only drawback is the interiors tend to be sun damaged.

How much does it cost to import a defender? I'm new to this defender forum btw.
A few thousand plus. You can do some research here, on Google, or call Uncle Douglas, and get an even better idea probably.

This isn't exactly the best thread for you to start that convo though.

Unfortunately that add is a scam. I have found the same vehicle for sale on craigslist all over the USA but never get a response when I try to buy it. As clean as the photos are (each add has one photo from a different angle) I thought I found exactly what I was looking for, especially at that price but it was too good to be true.

Seller of the white LWB reports it's able to make the trip east no problem.
