I have clutch fluid leaking down my pedal draining onto my floor mats. Is this typically a faulty master or slave cylinder? Should I attempt to repair it myself? I can't engage the gears unless I actually start the vehicle in gear. Can I add additional brake fluid (DOT 4) and drive the vehicle to a service location, or do I need to bleed the line to remove the old fluid and air that's trapped in the line.

Any words of wisdom or advice would be greatly appreciated. If you've been following my restoration - she's come a long way.

Thank you!

When you do the master just go ahead and do the slave as well. And one more vote for the Dorman conversion as mentioned above - for sure! Hardest part is moving the brake booster out of the way to get to the master
