Hello, kicking around changing to a stumpy prior to finishing my build. Something I should have though about before but funds were limited at the time. Few questions for items needed

1) Need new tunnel I know, does the diaphragm change as well?

2) Do the floors change for driver and passenger since the tunnel is different

3) will my HD fork and HD throw out from LT77 work?

4) Ashcroft has linkage, is there anything I’m Missing here?

Does anyone have parts for sale?

Thanks
Jeff

1) and 2) No. Nothing needs to be changed. It is a direct swap for an LT77.
3) Fork is the same. Throwout is different.

4) Depends on your transfer case linkage. My linkage was quite old and there was a piece that looked like a twisted "S" on mine that changed to a "U" along the way. The "U" piece is not expensive. #31 (the new) in this picture: LT230 diff lock linkage PN?

Confirm all above only throwout bearing, (which is shorter), different transfer case linkage and a new shifter knob is required as shift pattern is different. Ashcroft can set you up with a nice kit. Don't think they have the knobs though.

If you are making the change, it would be a good idea to remove the final drive gear from the LT230 and have it cross drilled to help prevent the main-shaft spline wear that is so common.
