CEL - P0327 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit low Input (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)

I'm trying to resolve a P0327 code on my 1997 D90. I've replaced the knock sensor on the driver's side already. But I'm still getting the code. The next thing is to replace the wire and connector possibly. I'm hoping to avoid running new wires since both wires are part of the engine loom.
Has anyone come across this? To complicate things, I'm running a 4.6 and unlocked ECM with Tornado chips.
