My progress with the bulkhead repairs....some structure damage due to rust, cut and made new pieces, grinding..cutting..welding...not hard just time consuming...finally fit the panel and today finished welding it in. I'll fill the voids with JB weld. I prefer using this than bondo, easier to use..bonds great to metal.

did you do any rust proofing or paint spray inside the bulkhead? i am doing my repairs now and was wondering what is the best thing to use inside between the skins now that I have it open. I know there is some rust further in than what I have cut away so far.

I used POR 15 but I know theres rust where I cant even see, nature of the beast...eventually I might try get another bulkhead, have it dipped etc. I figure the repairs I made will outlast the bulkhead.
thanks, I need something like that too. a friend recommended that I try this 3M product for inside areas. it has a longer spray nozzle and can get inside more.I know there is rust there but maybe worth trying.

I see that working if it has a semi rigid spray nozzle. Ive seen a product that is supposed to b treat rust inside the frame but when watching the video it looked useless because the extended nozzle was curling up inside the frame and no idea what was getting treated
good point. needs to be like a wand and not a rubber hose set up. I will see if I can find out more.
I picked up a can of the 3m product. the spray nozzle comes in sections and it 32" long, or you can just use a few sections to make it the length you want.. stiff enough to hold shape into the truck body. see picture below.
