I'd like your guys' input on a Bestop® Sunrider® soft top for the D90 that features a fold-back sunroof. If you guys think it's possible to make and should be a go then help me get a few hundred people ready to order one. I emailed Bestop and this was their reply:

"Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your interest in Bestop.
For a top to be considered we would require an order of a few hundred. Gauging interest would likely need to be done by the purchasing company as we do not sell direct.

Thank You
Bestop Customer Service"

Picture this, but a D90 instead of a Jeep.

Find out how many D90 tops RoversNorth, Badger Coachworks, and Exmoore USA sell for the NAS trucks (with belt rail only for your purposes) per year to see how feasible this would be.

This may be your best bet for a similar result.

Oh how interesting. I didn't know you can roll back the front section of the tickford. I have a tickford. Yep, sure enough, it's on page 62 of the 94 owner's manual. So that kills my Bestop Sunrider idea. :) Mine could definitely use refurbishment though. And it might be better if I converted it to belt rail, because the snaps are awful. Usually I can barely get it to stretch enough to snap them. I've even caused one of the zippers to partly rip out in the back because it was stretched so tight. Maybe I'll try to get in contact with that company in socal.

Based on the overwhelming response here so far, you're welcome for saving you from getting your hopes up about the Sunrider. :)
