This is the one I know of with a 4.0, auto, vented dash, black SD cage and diamond plate on wing tops:

389/500

Was a prior salvage truck rebuilt. Had been at Copley and then on to the dealer who had it on BAT from West Chested PA. From when last for sale in the Fall of ‘18, someone would have added a basket and lights.

Carfax on the above truck shows PA offering and then reg in 11/18 in the state of NC, so the end location for this auction and fire sure fits. A salvage truck that is once again a salvage truck.

Not certain, but it fits a lot of the unique details and matches on carfax.

Good eye that’s it. Same round sticker on driver side lower corner front windscreen.

From the Copart listing: NC - SALVAGE CERTIFICATE OF TITLE
So everything ads up. Wow, short 1-month life in NC to what appears to be an oil line related fire. Anyone know more on the backstory? Would think this would had been addressed so perhaps something else is the cause.
What is with the bonnet being hacked open on both sides? Fire Department gaining access to extinguish?

If the BaT truck is indeed the same, then it's, at least, the second time it had burned down. From the BaT description:
"It is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 and a 4-speed automatic gearbox sourced from a 1997 Defender 90 and installed following an engine fire reported to have been contained to the area forward of the firewall".

The truck is cursed! :)

Meanwhile: decent MOD 90 at Copart in KY:

Figured we'd be seeing new Defender wrecks soon enough.

Here's a 92 130?
