I'm going with that advice ! Lol Thank you! I do have a weird intermittent issue if anyone has experienced this. If I'm cruising along in 3rd or 4rth gear with traffic , every so often it will BUCK on me. Almost like it shuts down and regains power. In the 7 years I've owned it I've had this looked at and it seems as though temporary fixes such as cap and rotor fixed it but only for about 1000 miles or so. It happens intermittently but is scary when it does. Its a 3.9 manual . Anyone have any ideas?
I also had the bucking develop to the point of shutting down. Turned out to be the TPS. Spares were extinct but the pricey upgraded TPS from RN (I think) solved it well for me.

I have the stock AC on my NAS. My son summed it up well coming out of Death Valley - "has it cooled off enough to put the AC on?". I've been considering taking it out for a long while but never got to it.

I've heard the AC doesn't work well in D-90s for the $5,000 it costs for the kit. Good to hear. Love your yellow Defender. My bucking issue feels like it starves fuel then chugs once and keeps going. Today it didn't do it at all. Very strange ! I need to run it more often as it sits for long periods of time. What size lift and tires are on yours? 4" lift with 35s ?
The bucking on mine was the same, sometimes seemed like it was fixed for months, then same exact feeling, bucking like the I was running out of gas.

Bit of a saga on the tires... The tires on the avatar picture are are 33MTx12.5s on 15in steel AR wheels. In the picture the front suspension is unloaded so the lift appears big. Lift is actually 2 inches. I did replace the tires a few years ago with 35MTx12.5s which were awesome... until I fitted a rooftop tent and made the roll/sway scary (no sway bars). Now running stock NAS Freelanders with 285/70ATs to fix the sway. Currently working on a sleeping solution that gets rid of the rooftop tent and gets me back onto the 35MTs!

Always something interesting to work on!

Apologies for TMI!
