Hi all,

I'm seeking some feedback from the collective on Winchester Gears. My HD R380 from Ashcroft is got some unfortunate noises and as I don't have my own workshop as of yet, I'll need to have it fixed up by a trusted shop.

That said, I'm lookin to outright just do a swap and keep the old trans and tear it down/repair it as a spare at a later date.

Do folks have good experiences with Winchester? Specifically, their hardened "stage 1" transmissions which look like they should be on par (or better) than Ashcroft's?

I have a Stage 1 transfer box from Winchester Gears. The ordering/shipping process was easy. The gear box has worked great. As for which one is better I can't answer that. I can say I would buy another one from them.
