Happy Holidays Friends,

I have a 1984 LHD Defender 110 with a 2" Lift and I want to fit wider tires. What kind of rims and spacers should I buy for 33/12.5/15 tires?

Thanks,
Sef

8 or 10” rims with zero offset. And trim flares or larger aftermarket ones.

Thank you Red90. Appreciate the help. I don't have much experience with tires, any recommendations on where to buy them? I just need black wolf style ones.

Thank you so much.

Many Rover parts suppliers will carry them. You can’t get them from normal wheel vendors. Just search for 15x8 or 15x10 steel wheels to fit Defenders.

Thank you Red90.

Rocky I just like the look of a wider tire. There is no other specific reason.

Do you have any concerns with 33/12.5/15s?

I asked roversnort and they do not carry 15x8 or 15x10's. They have them in 16's. Any recommendations to where to find 15x8's in the US?
Thanks,
Sef

Hi Z.G. can you give me the part number or the link? I am working with Travis H. I can have him order them for me.

Just get wide tires in 16s? Think that's the question.

If you try and sell your 15s down the road you will probably have a hard time .

Finding wide 16s is easy and finding wide 16 tires is too, also easy to flip

There's a reason 15s are only special order, we never get requests for them.

It looks great! Can you share the exact specs for both the wheel, tire, offset, spacers?
Also any rubbing?

I would point out they rub at 90% lock. As others have pointed out they also rub on factory flares on medium suspension travel like running over a curb but they look good.

Yes, you need aftermarket flares. Otherwise you will rip the stock ones the first day off road. Because you would not put these on to only drive on the road, right?
