Afternoon all,

I received a used crankshaft for my 300tdi a few weeks ago, and just today I got it back to the states for a grind.

Fella says it looks like we will need a 0.5mm u/s big end shell set for one journal that took alot more damage than I originally thought.

Paddocks only goes to .4mm it seems, so I was wondering if there was such a beast available or is this rig an elaborate paperweight?

Thats what I get for posting before I think.

I gave the specs for the grind to the fella at the machinists, maybe he got confused with it being in millimeters, and the back and forth to imperial.

looks promising.
