Not one of the best cars I bought, the price was right though. Who wants a cheap 110 and is not afraid of working on it.

On the pictures the seller provided me, the rear cross member looked good. After arrival we found out though, it looked good thanks to the bondo.

The car is still in Europe and the price includes transport to the East Coast.

Good to know:
  • all numbers matching
  • tires good
  • interior decent for a 25-year-old car
  • needs welding on the rear cross member
  • footwells rusted
  • drives ok, everything working.
  • 220 K miles

I didn't do a full inspection so be prepared that more work is involved.

The doors were rusty too but I had those replaced already by rust-free ones. The pictures still shows the old doors.

Isn't it completely refreshing when an honest seller describes a vehicle accurately by emphasizing the bad points and then setting the price accordingly.
Who could ask for a better seller!

She's a lovely plain simple stock Defender. Perfect truck for me. Once my Series truck is done. This is exactly the kind of rig I'll be looking for. Thank you for posting this! I'll keep an eye out for the next one. Have a great day!
