Because I am a glutton for punishment, here is another truck recently completed. It started as a so-so turd and I did some mechanical and cosmetic work to it make is less turd-ish and when I finished, I think it turned out really nice for what it is. This would be a good around town, knock around truck for someone. Priced it what I think is very reasonable but I am sure there will be some opinions here stating otherwise :) I have it listed elsewhere for $17,900.

Recent import from the UK 1988 Defender 110. Correct VIN is SALLDHMB7EA351643.

Good:

Solid frame, cross member, foot wheels and bulkhead.
All door bottoms and rear door bottoms repaired with 18 gauge metal, see pics
Doors close super tight with no vibration
Turbo diesel motor gives more pep than the 2.5 na and runs well
Power steering
Has current MOT cert
Shifts and brakes as it should with no odd sounds, pulls etc
Fairly clean interior
Fresh paint
Stereo and four speakers actually work

Bad:
Some rust on each portion of body where front doors shut, see pics
Surface rust on frame
Front bumper had a brush guard that has since been removed. Bolt holes in bumper where guard attached
Minor surface rust on driver foot well. Still solid though.
Stain on rear seat and on cargo area mat
Driver side doors have cracking in rear corners
Body is not perfect. Its a 25 year old truck and have some bumps and bruises present.
Head liner tight but dirty. Could use a cleaning.

Truck is in Virginia with clear VA title and all stamped customs docs. Price for a quick sale. Any questions, reach out to me.

I'll fix the images shortly so they are all vertical and not horizontal. Sorry, it's super annoying to look at it like that.

Sold and delivered to a board member. Super guy.

For those who are interested, I have a few trucks coming up. One is a true frame off restoration, LHD 110, V8 gas with auto transmission. Another is a lifted lhd 110, V8 that we put in a motor and trans from a '99 Disco. I'll have both in the next two weeks. Thanks.
