My truck has some fading from oxidation and sunlight on the exterior paint and I was wondering which option (Waxoyl clay bar, rubbing compound, or paint correction) at an automotive detailer will give me the best result? Your thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Brian

It was time to have the underside of my 110 protected. The frame is in A1 condition and I wanted to kept it that way for as long as possible. I did my research and considered all the usually suspects, both products and shops. In the end, I decided to not to this job myself (+90% of work DIY) and...

Has anyone used lacquer thinner in place of mineral spirits to thin Waxoyl? I'm guessing it would just evaporate more quickly, but has anyone tried it? Looking for a fine coating, not like the gloppy jobs you see folks do when theyre trying to hide rot.

I have Waxoyl starter kit that I am thinking about selling. We are in between houses currently which means I don't have a private garage at the moment so I have no place to apply the wax. I have used it once. The kit consists of 2 spray guns (HRS and HW-98) and a selection of long and short...
