FS: New unistalled, unpainted Defender rear swing away door. Steel frame with aluminum skin and primer finish. Drilled for wiper assembly and hinges but not for the rear tire carrier (though it can be). This is not an official LR part. I bought this along with my 1988 90SW. I decided to go ST...
The spare tire bracket was mounted on the rear door of my truck. The rear door is now bent at the top and does not seal at the top. The gap is about 1/4"
Anyone have suggestions for straightening the door?
I put a swing away spare tire carrier.
so as you can see i need a replacement rear door and glass. can anyone confirm what rovers north told me. rear door shell #PLB037H will support a spare tire with part # RNB060. I just can't wrap my brain around not needing a additional support from the chassis or frame reinforced seeing that...
I have two rear door shells from a Beluga Black LWB. Both are in very nice shape. No rust or corrosion at all. Removed from a parted 1994 LWB from Aspen, CO. I'd like to make a few bucks so shoot me an offer if you need them. I'm open to shipping, but don't have a ton of time to package...
Has anyone tried to modify the older rear door lock to put the vertical wire in it so that I can pull this off. I don't feel like spending $150 for a used setup when I have most of what I need if I can get it to work. I was going to tie it in to my power locks. This is a factory setup in the...

Does anyone have a Rear Door tire carrier plate for a IIa 109 for sale (the one with three studs)? If fitted, will the hinges take the load?
Anyone have one of these? Opinions? My rear door car is going to need replacing, and looking at this as an alternative to the OEM vinyl-on-hardboard card.

This has been sitting in storage in the shop for a few months and I have decided to go the soft top route, so I need to get rid of it. I wanted to replace all my doors with the PUMA versions to avoid rust issues in the future. I no longer need this as it will be replaced by a side swing...

I need to replace my rear door, and I want it to be as corrosion resistant as possible. As I see it, there are two options- an OEM that's been galvanized or a used 'Puma' or gen 2 door from a later Defender.
Link to galvanized one...
