I replaced the front cover with a bearmach unit last summer when doing some other work. Not many miles on it since then. I’m in the area again doing the p gasket I noticed it doesn’t see to rotate very true.
I put the dial gauge on the rim of the flange where the pulley sits and I get about...
Hi all, I need to change the bearings in the A/C compressor pulley, they're shot. Whats's the trick to removing the pulley? When I turn the 10mm bolt, it just spins the pulley. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Oh it's a NAS 97.
I'm currently looking for crankshaft damper pulley part number ERR7373 (new part number), which superseded ERR4922. This is for a 1997 NAS Defender 90 with the 4.0-liter V8, and obviously the part also fits the Discovery with the same engine.
None of the "usual suspects" have the...
I cam across this part at the bottom of a box on the back shelf this morning. It's the power steering pulley for a v belt RRC, ETC6408. It also fits 200Tdi engines so I thought I'd offer it up here for anyone installing power steering on an early 90 or 110. It was rusty so I put a wire wheel...
Apologies if this seems obvious. There's a definite gap between the outside grooves, the middle one just looks a little different (flat-bottomed vs v-bottomed) in profile. I'm wondering if it is indeed a three groove pulley or if I need to replace it for pending A/C install.
I'm starting to research the pulleys on the front on the defender 200tdi, but thought I'd ask here as well.
So yeah, I'm still learning the basics of this motor. Replaced the panhard rod tonight with my daughter as acting supervisor. When finished, looked up from the bottom and saw that the...
Hi, looking to buy ASAP for a front/bottom pulley for a 1994 Defender 90. I just discovered mine is cracked 3-4 inches and is loud. If not please provide the part number so I can purchase one at RN. Thanks.
When replacing timing belt, how do you know where to set the fuel pump pulley back exactly as it has a little bit of slack about 20 degree or so even with the pin inserted? I am talking about the pulley itself when it is loosened from the fuel pump spindle.
I know you are supposed...
So the crank pulley in my 200tdi just got remodeled by the front dif in my 109. Mental note, need military bump stops.
Does anyone know if the defender and discovery 200tdis use the same crank pulley? Should do, right?
