So I have a rebuilt 300 TDi without the air cleaner bracket for a defender installed. The shop that rebuilt it, said to just remove the two head bolts, install the bracket and retorque the two bolts. Has anyone done this before with or without issues? It makes me nervous to not retorque them all.
