Just picked up a NOS fiberglass hardtop for a 1994 NAS defender, and included in the hardware were these. I've worked with these hardtops for quite a few years, but have never seen this on past hardtops. Can anyone identify these? thanks

I have one Alpine glass. When I see them pop up on ebay they normally say passenger or drivers side. The one I have looks symmetrical. Are they interchangeable from side to side? I only need one so do not want to purchase an incorrect piece. Thanks in advance.
