Building a trail rig for a forum member. He wants lockers and would prefer a detroit in the rear but let us know what you have. Also interested in hydro bump stops, etc, pm with what crazy off road gear you have lying about that is surplus to your requiremnts
I would like to buy 3.54 Diffs (both front and rear) for 10 spline axles.
I am located in Columbia, SC and would love something I could drive and pick up, but would certainly pay for shipping too as I don't think many of you are close to me.
RN has some for sale, but damn....I could...
Trying to get some stuff out of my garage.
For sale is leftover parts that were never used, bearing/CV/seal related (see pics below), I'd like to get $50 + shipping for the lot. The parts are brand new, but full disclosure, the packaging is covered in grease as you'll see in the pics. There are...

So any one in the the area that i can trust to do it right and not rip me off?
I can deliver the axles, they are coming off the truck now.

So, I have a set of 3 tires with about 50% of their tread left. The fourth punctured and was un-reparable. I'm running with the spare (100% tread) on that tire.
So my question is: how worried should I be about this tread mis-match? I'm not too worried about it in 4x4 mode (since I only lock...
Looking to sell my rover diffs and axles. The gears, bearings and axles have less than 6 mos/2,500 miles on them.. the majority of those miles driving to the wilds and back. Everything is practically good as new. Only reason I am selling is doing the Toyota conversion..
Unfortunately, after spending enormous amounts of money and time on my 1995 RRC (used to be Art Vigils) I had an engine and under-drivers side dash fire that cooked the electrical wiring. Insurance company wrote off the vehicle and i got salvage so I'm parting it out.
For now there are just a...
So, I hear that early RR diffs will fit my series and give it much better highway gearing. If anybody has a set that is gathering dust, let me know.
1st gear might even be usfull after the swap, because I normally just start off in 2nd.:)
I have 2 built diffs with 3.5 gears.
One was built by Bill at GBR and I had it pegged maybe 2,000 miles on it. I have the $1100 receipt.
The othere was rebuilt by Matt Brown at Overland Engineering and has no miles since the rebuild.
I can deliver these to the ROMP
I have a F&R set of diffs- both with 4.10 Detroit Tru Tracs in 24 spline with around 4k miles on them. Currently in my 5 spd D-II but will fit 90, D-I, D-II, and RRC. Both sets for $1199. Also have another set of F&R HD axles, but they are for D-II and not available until lockers sell.
